Coogee as a village

The village atmosphere of Coogee is widely acknowledged by residents and visitors alike. The small curved bay area with its grassy foreshore parks and natural headlands is loved for its natural and non commercial character. The profile of the built surrounds, despite some high rise, is low-scale and low-key. The locals are friendly ad welcoming and people know one another.
